🌿 Skin-Soothing Green Chutney (My Most Recommended Skin-Healing Recipe)

Light • Cooling • Anti-inflammatory • Gut-friendly

If there’s one recipe I’ve been recommending again and again to my clients with eczema, acne, redness, heat-based rashes, melasma, and inflammation, it’s this simple green chutney.

It looks humblebut it works beautifully because it cools the system from within, supports detox, and nourishes the gut — all essential for healthy skin.

And yes, it tastes amazing. 💚

Why This Chutney Helps Your Skin?

This chutney is packed with herbs that naturally reduce inflammation and internal “heat” — something I see in many skin conditions.

Here’s why it works: Coriander & mint cool the body

They calm heat, soothe inflammation, support digestion, and help clear toxins.

🍃 The Skin-Soothing Green Chutney Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 large bunch fresh coriander
  • 1 small handful mint leaves
  • 1 small green chilli (optional; skip for kids or sensitive digestion)
  • 1 small clove garlic
  • ½ inch ginger
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • ½–1 tsp cumin seeds (or cumin powder)
  • Salt to taste
  • 2–3 tbsp water (add slowly as needed)

Instructions

  1. Wash all herbs thoroughly.
  2. Add coriander, mint, garlic, ginger, lemon juice, cumin and salt into a blender.
  3. Add a splash of water and blend until smooth.
  4. Adjust salt, lemon, or water to your liking.
  5. Store in the fridge for 2–3 days in an airtight container.

🥗 How to Use It (Skin-Boosting Ways)

  • On whole-grain crackers
  • With sprouted moong (my favourite combo!)
  • As a dip with veggies
  • Mixed into yogurt
  • Spread inside wraps
  • On rice bowls or salads

This chutney can be enjoyed daily — it’s gentle, fresh, and supports healthy digestion, which directly improves your skin.
